Hannover Re has appointed Ms Kantaporn Thejatunga as general manager of life and health (L&H) of its Malaysian Branch in Kuala Lumpur, according to a post on LinkedIn.
The post also noted that in her new role, Ms Kantaporn will lead efforts to further strengthen Hannover Re’s presence in markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and beyond.
Ms Kantaporn joined Hannover Re in 2018 as a business development actuary for the Thai market. She began her career as a pricing actuary and holds a bachelor of actuarial science from Mahidol University and Curtin University, said the post.
Ms Kantaporn will take over from Mr Soeren Kruse, who was appointed head of L&H Southern and Eastern Asia earlier this year, the post stated.
