Munich Re has appointed Ms Michaela Hannemann as Head of Non-Life for Australasia, effective 1 May 2026.
Ms Hannemann brings more than 20 years of international (re)insurance and reinsurance experience, as well as deep expertise across underwriting and client management, and a strong, people focussed leadership style.
She joined Munich Re in 2021. Prior to that, she worked with Gen Re and Faraday Underwriting.
