Australia:Insurance losses from bushfire crisis reach A$700m

Cars and houses ravaged by the bushfires


As the bushfire crisis rages on in Australia, insurance losses currently stand at A$700m ($480.87m) with insurers receiving 8,985 claims to date since September from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia according to the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA).
