Singlife has announced the appointment of Mr Leo Mun Wai as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Boards of Singapore Life Holdings and Singapore Life. He will also serve as a member of the Risk and Audit Committees.
Mr Leo is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial sector, including over two decades in senior regulatory roles and a decade of board-level leadership.
Before transitioning to corporate board roles, Mr Leo held senior roles at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and was also the Executive Director of Banking Supervision. He has also served on the boards of Great Eastern Life Assurance Singapore and Great Eastern General Insurance. He currently sits on the Board of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, where he is a member of its Risk and Audit Committees.
His public service career includes serving as a founding board member of the Casino Regulatory Authority and as a member of the Securities Industry Council.
