Thailand:Siam Commercial Bank to acquire all the shares in insurer

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) plans to acquire all shares in Siam Commercial New York Life Insurance (SCNYL) from existing shareholders in a deal worth THB8.4 billion (US$275 million), rounding out its full range of financial services under its universal banking strategy, reports the Bangkok Post.
