The number of already confirmed delegates for the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) is significantly above last year and indicates yet another strong attendance, with an expected total of close to 3,000 visitors at the event which is set to take place from 29 October to 1 November.
With the theme: ‘Winds of Change’, the 16th SIRC is set to tackle the priority challenges facing the (re)insurance industry today with the emphasis on sustainability of both business and the environment and how the industry is being reshuffled. It will address pressing industry issues such as the increasing frequency and severity of extreme weather events caused by climate change, industry disruption and digital transformation, as well as the sustainability of the (re)insurance business model as operating margins narrow.

Launched in 1991, SIRC is the most important insurance event in Asia drawing leading insurers, brokers and reinsurers together to take stock of the reinsurance market and set the tone for the renewal season while exploring new opportunities for business cooperation.
