Singapore:US$181 Mln Islamic Fund Launched By NTUC Income

NTUC Income will launch a new Islamic fund known as Amanah Fund this month and this will be the largest Islamic fund in Singapore offering a diversified portfolio of both Islamic bonds and equities worth S$300 million (US$181 million). It is also the first time that Islamic bonds are made available in Singapore and the insurance cooperative hopes to extend the fund to the global community such as other insurance cooperatives in Europe.
