The insurance regulator of Thailand, the Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), is encouraging insurance agents and brokers to register in a e-Licensing system, named "ForSure Middleman".
As the OIC prioritises sales channels of insurance agents and brokers in the sale of protection in the country, the application requires agents and brokers to present their electronic license to verify their identity. At the same time, the application promote transparency and prevent fraud by enabling the public to check the licenses.
This allows the application to realise its aim of creating a comprehensive and up-to-date database that enables supervision, as well.
